Tangail is internationally associated with its distinctive handloom textiles and traditional sarees. On this experience, you will go behind the finished product and see how traditional Bangladeshi textiles are actually made.

You will visit local weaving workshops, observe the preparation of yarn and see artisans operating traditional looms. The experience provides an opportunity to meet the people who continue to preserve this craft as part of their everyday livelihood.

After the textile experience, we will explore Tangail’s famous sweets market, where you can discover and taste the region’s celebrated Chomchom and other traditional sweets.
